Render & UX only
It never sends gameplay actions for you. It draws HUDs and screens; the server stays fully authoritative.
Locked to Ancients
An allowlist gates it to the Ancients network — it does nothing on any other server.
Nothing is gated behind it
The whole game is fully playable without it. The mod is purely a nicer experience.
It's a Fabric client mod for Minecraft 1.21.11, and runs happily alongside performance mods like Sodium and Lithium. It needs the Fabric Loader + Fabric API — it is not a Lunar Client mod and won't load inside Lunar. If you already play on Fabric, you're set.
Install

Start Minecraft on the Fabric profile and join ancients.gg.

The mod only changes how things are drawn. Every system it surfaces is playable from vanilla chat and menus — the game is always fully playable without installing anything.
